Warwick Schiller (USA)
It wouldn’t be Equidays without our crowd-favourite international clinician Warwick Schiller, joining us to share his talents in the area of horsemanship and communication.
Born on a 1200-acre sheep/wheat farm in Australia, Warwick has been riding since the age of eight. He started out riding around the farm, then went to pony club before competing at Quarter Horse Shows.
Warwick then ventured to the US to learn about training reining horses which led to him becoming a reining horse trainer and eventually representing Australia at two World Equestrian Games in 2010 and 2018.
Warwick’s true talent lies in his unique ability to explain things to people in a way they understand. Those who catch Warwick’s clinics at Equidays will learn to look at things differently and take note of the thing’s horses are communicating with us that we don’t often see. Learning to listen to what your horse has to say is an important part of the whole relationship.
Warwick is honoured to be asked to come back to Equidays, saying “it’s my favourite horse expo, in my favourite country, so what’s not to like!”
