Jo Bard is joining Sean Topsom to deliver clinics on the different phases of Working Equitation and developing your horse through the levels.
Jo’s first introduction to horses was riding ponies on her grandparent’s farm as a young toddler. Jo started riding lessons and went on to gain an HND in Equine Studies and her BHS AI. After working and training at multiple international training yards in England, Ireland and Portugal, Jo represented Great Britain in Working Equitation in 2007.
Jo credits finding her passion for Dressage and Working Equitation to meeting and working with Sue Barber who helped her fall in love with the Lusitano bread. Jo has also spent many hours being coached by Bento Castelhano who was also instrumental to her success and passion.
At Equidays, Jo will be giving visitors to her clinics a good understanding of Working Equitation, the different phases and breaking it down to achievable steps to cater for any horse and rider combination. Jo is passionate about Working Equitation and is aiming to making sure everyone has a clear understanding of this fast-growing discipline.
