Equidays 2015 | Day 1

FEI World Jumping Challenge

This is a two-round competition where riders will jump both rounds and the penalties from the first round are added to the second round. The rider with the least penalties wins!

The competition is designed for those riders not competing internationally to compete against riders of the same level from all over the world. The Challenge is divided into 10 geographical zones, each with its own qualifying rounds, with the same course design across the board taking place in a 65m x 45m arena. Riders will have the opportunity to compete in Categories A (1.20 – 1.30m) and B (1.10 – 1.20m) – but only Category A acts as a qualifier. Category A will receive world rankings and the overall Cat A winner from each NZL regional zone will head overseas for the FEI World Jumping Challenge Final. Category B offers a fantastic opportunity to ride an international-standard course at a lower height.Big purple positive FEI
