Dr Andrew McLean will demonstrate the foundations horse training showing the 10 Operant Responses and their associated aids. He will show how all facets of training are derived from this simple, easy to use recipe taking the guess work out of horse training.

Habituation Techniques

Habituation is a method that can be used in many different areas of training whether it be saddling for the first time, clipping a sensitive horse or helping to calm a nervous horse. Here, Andrew will demonstrate the different ways to use habituation as a training tool

Using the 10 Operant Reponses to Solve Behavioural Problems (3 problem horses)

All behavioural problems can be resolved by reinstalling the 10 Operant Responses. Here Andrew will re-train 3 problem horses explaining how each problem can be aligned with the incorrect response to one or more of the 10 Operant Responses.
