Event Information 2017
Equidays is New Zealand’s premier equine event, showcasing the best education, competition, shopping and entertainment. With over 40 hours of clinics each day, a $60,000+ competition prize pool, two nightshows and over 200 exhibitors, Equidays is a must-attend on New Zealand’s equine calendar.
Tickets for Equidays 2017 will be on sale August 2017.
Equidays – 13-15 October, 2017
Gates open daily at 9am.
Gates close at 6pm on Friday and Saturday. On these days, exhibitors may close from 5pm onwards but visitors are welcome to stay until 6pm.
On Sunday, gates open at 9am, and gates close at 4pm.
Equidays is held at Mystery Creek Events Centre, 125 Mystery Creek Road, Hamilton, New Zealand.

1.5 hours from Auckland, Tauranga and Rotorua
Ample free outdoor parking is available on site.
Please take note of where you park your car to ensure you can easily find your vehicle at the end of the day.
No animals are allowed on site (including camping areas and car parks) at Equidays, except guide dogs and animals participating in the event. If you bring your pet to Equidays, or leave your pet in your vehicle, you will be asked to take them home.
ATM sites and mobile EFTPOS and cash out facilities will be available throughout the site.
There’s no need to worry about being hungry at Equidays! We have a range of delicious food and refreshment options available.
Ample on-site parking is available. Where possible, please try to take more than one person per car to reduce traffic to the event. Please note: Strictly NO camping in public parking areas, there is a dedicated Equidays camping area.

During event times, accommodation is at a premium. Book your accommodation well in advance to secure somewhere to stay. Not only does Hamilton have many hotels and motels, there are many surrounding towns – Cambridge, Te Awamutu and Matamata to name just a few – which have excellent accommodation options.
